The Perfect Storm
A True Story of Men Against the Sea

Sebastian Junger

This is a book I borrowed from Sarah. The “perfect storm” is one that is so bad that it can’t get worse. It is a story of winds that blow anemometers away and ninety–foot waves and ships that disappear, never to be seen again. It is a book that says a lot about commercial fishing and the crews that work the boats. (Can you imagine a fishing line forty miles long with baited hooks along its length?)

It is a well–written book and one I enjoyed very much.
